Prior to Shepherd: A 2017 graduate of St. Maria Goretti High School where he played basketball for former Shepherd assistant coach Matt Miller ... played at Martinsburg High School before transferring to Goretti for his senior year.

Personal: The son of Scott and Deborah McAboy ... majoring in accounting ... his uncle, Tom Neal, played football at Shepherd and was inducted into the Shepherd Athletic Hall of Fame in 1996 ... his uncle, Todd Kief, played football at West Virginia Tech ... his cousin, Kristen Dick, is a 2015 Shepherd graduate.
