Prior to SU: Lettered in basketball, soccer, and track at John Handley High School. Was a First Team All-District and Second Team All-Region choice. A member of regional and district champion teams. Averaged 17 points and four rebounds.


Personal: The son of Bob and Cathy Lawler. A 2012 graduate of John Handley High School, Lawler is majoring in fitness and exercise science.
