2019-20: Appeared and started in all 28 games … a first team All-PSAC East selection as he led the Rams in points (484), scoring average (16.7), free throw percentage (.875) on the season ... tied Jon Preston for the team lead in steals (34) and steals per game (1.2) ... set a Shepherd single-season mark with 111 three-pointers….grabbed a career-high 11 rebounds against Kutztown...scored a career-high 42 points against Bowie State ... set a Shepherd single-game mark with 11 three-pointers against Wilson College … named PSAC East Co-Athlete of the Week for Nov. 18 and PSAC East Athlete of the Week for Dec. 16 ... selected to CoSIDA Academic All-District II Team for second consecutive year.
2018-19: Appeared and started in all 30 games … earned second team All-MEC honors as he averaged 18.0 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 2.5 assists ... led the team with a .919 free throw percentage (91-99) ... set a then Shepherd single-season mark with 105 three-pointers ... scored a season-high 36 points against UVa-Wise ... grabbed a career-high nine rebounds against Concord ... had a season-high six assists on two occasions ... named MEC Player of the Week for Jan. 19 ... selected to 2019 Google Cloud Academic All-District II Team.
2017-18: Appeared and started in all 29 games … earned honorable mention All-MEC honors as he averaged 14.9 points, 2.6 rebounds, and a team-best 4.0 assists … his 1.3 steals per game also led the team … drained 70-of-78 free throws for a team-best .897 free throw percentage … his 75 three pointers were second on the team …scored 20 points or more on six occasions … recorded career highs of 27 points and 10 assists against Notre Dame … grabbed a career-high eight rebounds against UVa-Wise … connected on 10-of-10 free throws in a win over Wheeling Jesuit ... had a career-high 10 assists against Notre Dame.
2016-17: Appeared in 30 games with one start ... averaged 3.4 points, 2.0 rebounds and 1.8 assists ... his 19 three-pointers were fourth on the team ... one of the team's top free throw shooters with a .800 (12-15) mark ... tossed in a season-high 11 points against West Liberty.
Prior to Shepherd: A 2016 graduate of Linganore High School where he played for Tom Kraft ... helped lead his team to the regional title ... also ran track and won the 400-yd dash regional title ... garnered All-State Second Team honors ... named Frederick County Co-Player of the Year for 2016 ... an all-conference and all-area first team selection two years in a row.
Personal: The son of Tom and Stacey Lang ... majoring in physical education with a minor in health ... his father, Tom, played basketball at Georgetown ... his grandfather, Joe Lang, participated in track and field at St. John's ... his brother, Nicholas, plays basketball at Mercyhurst ... his cousin, Stephen Lang, played basketball at McDaniel.
