2023: Came in fourth (15th overall, 14:49.39) on the team at the Hood College Blazer Blitz … placed fourth (68th overall, 31:23.9) at the D2/D3 Challenge at Kutztown … finished fourth (52nd overall, 29:04.90) at the Don Cathcart Invitational … placed fourth (159th overall, 28:58.4) at the Aubrey Shenk Invitational ... finished third (126th overall, 31:32.7) at the PSAC Championships ... placed fifth (146th overall, 38:08.9) at the NCAA II Atlantic Regionals at Lock Haven.

2022: Came in third (71st overall, 22:58.1) on the team at the Galen Piper XC Invitational … came in third  (118th overall, 32:25.10) at the D2/D3 Challenge … came in second (238th overall, 29:31.50) at the Lock Haven Invitational … placed third  (115th overall, 30:50.1) in the Rowan Inter-Regional Border Battle … placed seventh (144th overall, 32:57.5) at the PSAC Championships … placed fifth (154th overall, 37:34.0) at the Atlantic Regionals. 

2021: Placed third (91st overall, 23:02.9) on the team at the 11th Annual Galen Piper XC Challenge ... finished fourth (118th overall, 33:51.8) at the D II/D III Challenge at Kutztown ... placed third (90th overall, 31:55.494) at the Dickinson Long-Short Invitational ... ranked fourth (82nd overall, 33:17.3) at the Hood College Open ... finished third (103rd overall, 31:53.7) on the team at the PSAC Championships ... placed fourth (146th overall, 38:42.9) at the NCAA II Atlantic Regional.

Prior to Shepherd:  A 2021 graduate of James Wood High School where he ran cross country for Matt Lofton ... lettered in cross country, indoor track, and outdoor track.

Personal: The son of Ashley Burdock and Chad Wines ... majoring in cybersecurity ... his great great great great grandfather, Jack Burdock, played baseball in the major leagues and is credited with executing what is thought to be the first hidden ball trick.
