Prior to Shepherd: A 2016 grad of Middletown High School where he played for Ethan Lester... also lettered in baseball and bocce... earned Second Team All-Conference Honors twice and honorable mention All-Area Honors two years in a row... averaged 41.0 his senior season.

Personal: Son of Michael and Tammi DeSimone... majoring in health and exercise physiology.
