Prior to Shepherd: A 2021 graduate of St. Clairsville High School where he played football for Brett McLean ... lettered three years in football and four in wrestling ... gained first team All-Ohio, All-District, and All-Conference honors ... named east District Defensive Player of the Year ... selected for Ohio North-South All-Star Game and OVAC All-Star Game ... posted 89 solo tackles, 36 assists, 16 career sacks, 10 quarterback hurries, two forced fumbles, and a pair of fumble recoveries ... gained All-Ohio, District Champion, Sectional Champion, and OVAC Champion honors in wrestling ...a four-year All-Academic choice in both sports ... a transfer from Concord  ... recorded 12 tackles and a sack for the Mountain Lions.
