Prior to Shepherd: A 2014 graduate of Dundalk High School where he played football for Sean Sandora... gained  All-Division and All-County honors at linebacker... named to 2013 Maryland Crab Bowl... had 104 tackles four forced fumbles and two sacks as a senior...recorded  235 tackles, six forced fumbles, five sacks, and an interception for his career.

Personal: The son of Wylie Brown, Sr. and Pamela Shield... majoring in sport marketing... his uncle is former Ram Aaron Dailey.
