Danielle Easton

Danielle Easton enters her second season as head softball coach at Shepherd University after spending four seasons as an assistant for the Rams.

Shepherd posted a 34-16 overall mark with a 24-7 record in conference play as the MEC North champions. The Rams were ranked in the region throughout the year and just missed out on a postseason bid

Easton came to Shepherd after spending a season as an assistant at Washington & Jefferson College.

Easton was a four-year starter as a third-baseman/catcher at California University of Pennsylvania from 2007-11. She was a two-time First Team All-PSAC West honoree. Easton gained First Team NFCA All-Region and NFCA Scholar-Athlete accolades as a junior.

A native of Hanover, Pennsylvania, Easton gained her bachelor’s degree from California (Pa.) in 2011 and recently completed her MBA at Shepherd.
