Shepherd University Athletics

Danielle Easton enters her second season as assistant softball coach at Shepherd University.

Easton came to Shepherd after spending last season as an assistant at Washington & Jefferson College. Her coaching duties at Washington & Jefferson included practice planning, monitoring of academics, player conditioning, fund-raising, and opponent scouting.

Easton was a four-year starter as a third-baseman/catcher at California University of Pennsylvania from 2007-11. She was a two-time First Team All-PSAC West honoree. Easton gained First Team NFCA All-Region and NFCA Scholar-Athlete accolades as a junior.

A native of Hanover, Pennsylvania, Easton gained her bachelor’s degree from California (Pa.) in 2011.
