Prior to Shepherd: A 2018 graduate of Washington High School where she played softball for former Ram Amanda Orkoskey ... a two-year starter on the softball team ...  a two-time second team All-Conference choice ... played on the Tri-State Thunder Gold team with Ashley Burger that qualified for the nationals in Huntington Beach, California.

Personal: The daughter of Misty Faith and Eric Dawson ... majoring in nursing.
