2024: Topped the pitching staff in nearly every category ... appeared in 27 games with 20 starts in the circle ... posted a 16-5 mark with a save and a 1.83 ERA ... fanned a school-record 242 batters and walked only 33 in 143.0 innings ... led the team with 13 complete games ... posted three shutouts and two combined shutouts ... recorded a .778 fielding percentage in nine chances ... recorded 10 strikeouts or more on 16 occasions ... broke the previous Shepherd single-game strikeouts mark (15, set by Nichole Pitcock vs. West Chester, 2-26-11) twice with 16 strikeouts against Northern State and Lock Haven ... her 11.8 strikeouts per seven innings ranked her second nationally, while her 242 strikeouts placed her ninth ... her 7.33 strikeouts-to-walks ratio ranked her 11th nationally and her 4.70 hits allowed per seven innings mark placed her 16th.

Prior to Shepherd: A 2023 graduate of Washington High School where she played softball for former Ram Amanda Orkoskey ... lettered three years in softball ... a three-time All-EPAC choice ... a two-time Journal Player of the Year and EPAC Player of the Year ... a three-time All-State selection (two-time first team) ... posted a 1.80 ERA with 613 strikeouts .. added a .360 batting average.

Personal: The daughter of Michelle and Kenneth Ruffner .... majoring in elementary education ... her sister, Hannah, was a pitcher for the Rams ... her sister, Meaghan, is an outfielder for the Rams ... her cousin, Christian Tyler Cross, wrestled at Alderson Broaddus ... her cousin, Austin Cross, played baseball at Radford and Potomac State ... her mother, Michelle, graduated from Shepherd in 1995 ... her aunt, Carol Reed, graduated from Shepherd in 2002.
