2016: Appeared in 27 games with 24 starts ... posted an 11-9 mark with a team best 2.08 ERA ... fanned 99 in 127.2 innings ... tossed 10 complete games, one shut out and one save ... helped pitch a no-hitter against Virginia Union in the Salem Tournament (3.0 IP, 6 K, 1 BB) ... posted a .921 fielding percentage in 38 chances ... garnered MEC All-Academic honors ... a Ram Nation Scholarship award winner.
2015: Appeared and started in 23 games ... posted an 11-12 overall mark with a team best 3.84 ERA...fanned 70 in 129.1 innings ... tossed 15 complete games and three shutouts ... led the Shepherd pitching staff in virtually every statistical category ... fired a five inning no-hitter in the season opener against Shaw ... named an MEC All-Tournament Team selection.
2014: Appeared in 31 games with 18 starts ... posted a 9-12 mark with one save and a 4.03 ERA ... fanned 60 in 142.1 innings ... tossed 11 complete games and one shutout.
Prior to Shepherd: A 2013 graduate of Morgantown High School where she played softball for Lorri Lipscomb...a four-year varsity softball starter, Hanson also lettered four years in golf ... a First Team All-State selection in 2013 when she led Morgantown to a school-record 21 wins ... a two-time
Dominion Post Player of the Year and three-time Second Team All-State choice ... named to 2013 OVAC and North-South All-Star squads ... turned down a Division I golf scholarship to play softball at Shepherd.
Personal: The daughter of Ken and Karen Hanson...her brother, Travis, played golf at West Virginia Wesleyan...majoring in accounting.
