Melissa Furr

    Graduate Assistant
Melissa Furr enters her second season on the Ram staff as a graduate assistant after previously serving as an assistant varsity girl's basketball coach at Warren County High School. She helped lead the 2012-13 Warren County team to its first district title in 30 years.
 
Prior to that, Furr graduated from Shepherd in 2012. During her time here she was a student-athlete for the Shepherd women's basketball team before serving as a student assistant in her last two years after a career-ending injury. She was selected as the WVIAC's Red Hartman Award winner as a senior.
 
Furr is currently working on her master's degree in the teaching graduate program.
