Rick Little enter his first season as an assistant on the Shepherd women's basketball staff in 2022-23.
Little served as assistant on the McDaniel College’s women’s basketball staff from 2013-16, and as the interim head coach for the 2018-2019 season. Prior joining the McDaniel staff, he was an assistant for 22 years at Walkersville High and the head coach of the girls’ basketball team from 2016-2018.
In addition to his high school and college coaching, Little has coached for the Glade Valley Athletic Association and Woodsboro Recreation Council, where he also served as Council President. He was a driving force behind the creation of the AAU program in the Walkersville/Woodsboro community.
A native of Hanover, Pa., Little graduated from Delone Catholic. He holds an associate degree from York College of Pa., a bachelor’s degree in business education from Shippensburg, Pa., and an MBA from Mount Saint Mary's University in Emmitsburg, Md.
Little lives in Woodsboro, Md., with his wife, Lee Anne.
