Prior to Shepherd: A 2013 graduate of South River High School where she played basketball for Mike Zivic ... lettered in basketball and track ... a transfer from Anne Arundel Community College where she played for Lionel Makell ... earned third team NJCAA All-American honors as she led Maryland JUCO schools and ranked eighth nationally with a 23.0 scoring average ... earned the Louis L. Siegert Award as outstanding female athlete of the year at AACC.

Personal: The daughter of Rochelle Foote and Derrick McKinney  ... her cousin, Maurice Creek,  played basketball at Indiana and George Washington and now plays professionally in Europe.
