Prior to Shepherd: A 2025 graduate of Woodgrove High School where she played basketball for Derrick Fisher ... lettered in basketball and also played JV softball ...  named first team All-District, first team All-Region, and received the Coaches Award in 2023-24 ... earned a McDonald's all-America nominee,  first team All-District, Catoctin District Player of the Year, first team All-Region, Region Player of the Year, first team All-State, and All-Met honorable mention selection in 2024-25 ... grabbed over 500 rebounds and averaged 9.7 points over her career.

Personal: The daughter of .Melissa and Steve Blankenship ... majoring in secondary education ... her father, Steven Ryan Blankenship, played baseball at the University of Mary Washington from 1991-1995.
