Prior to Shepherd: A 2012 graduate of Catoctin High School where she played lacrosse for Allison Rutland... lettered in lacrosse and basketball... a four-time All-Conference choice and two-time First Team All-County choice... a member of the 2012 MVAL Conference champion basketball squad... recorded 26 goals and 14 assists in 13 games in 2012.
Personal: The daughter of Robert and Cheryl Phelan... her grandfather, Jim Phelan, was a men's basketball coaching legend at Mount St. Mary's... her cousins, Kate and Mary Robinson, played lacrosse at Catholic University... majoring in sports marketing.
