Prior to Shepherd: A 2018 graduate of Carlisle High School where she played lacrosse for Ally Brehm ... lettered two years in lacrosse and field hockey ... lettered four years in swimming ... ranked second on her team in scoring and ground balls.

Personal: The daughter of Tara and Kenneth Young ,,, is undecided upon a major ...  her mother was a swimmer at McDaniel College ... her father played basketball at McDaniel ... her sister, Elizabeth is a swimmer at East Stroudsburg ... her aunt, Lynelle Collins, played volleyball at Albright ... her aunt, Natalie Lebo, was a swimmer at East Stroudsburg ... her aunt, Corinne Nealy, was a swimmer at East Stroudsburg ... her cousin, Evan Collins, played soccer at South Carolina, Dayton, and currently plays at Dickinson.
