2021: Appeared and started in all 37 games ... batted .311 with 33 hits in 106 at-bats ... scored 26 runs and drove in 34 ... added nine doubles and seven home runs  ... drew 29 walks and was hit-by pitch seven times to tie Cole Daugherty for the team lead  ... his three sacrifice flies to tie Jared Carr and Cole Daugherty for the team lead  ... was 7-of-8 in stolen bases ... posted a 1.000 fielding percentage in 192 chances.

2020: Appeared and started in all 18 games ... batted .365 with a team-best 23 hits in 63 at-bats ... scored 17 runs and tied Jared Carr with a team-best 22 runs batted in ... added six doubles and team-best six home runs ... drew 13 walks and was hit-by-pitch a team-best four times ... topped the team in OPS (1.246), slugging percentage (.746), and on-base percentage (.500) ... was 4-of-4 in stolen bases ... posted a .981 fielding percentage in 105 chances.

2019: Appeared in 30 games with 15 starts ... batted .227 with 15 hits in 66 at-bats ... drove in 19 runs and scored 16 ... added two doubles, two triples, and four home runs ... drew 11 walks ... was 1-of-2 in stolen bases ... posted an .889 fielding percentage in 63 chances.

Prior to Shepherd: A 2016 graduate of Boonsboro High School where he played baseball for Ronnie Stewart ... lettered four years in baseball and basketball ... a three-time first team All-Conference choice in baseball ...  a two-time first team All-Conference honoree in basketball ... a transfer from UMBC where he played baseball for Bob Mumma ...  gained All-Conference honors as a utility player for the Retrievers.

Personal: The son of Jenifer and Ronnie Stewart ... majoring in sports marketing.
