2022: Appeared and started in 24 games ... batted .229 with 16 hits in 70 at-bats ...drove in 10 runs and scored 12 ... added five doubles and a pair of home runs ... drew 11 walks and was hit-by-pitch twice ... had two sacrifices  ... was 2-of-3 in stolen bases ... had a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage in 35 chances.

2021: Appeared in 30 games with 23 starts ... batted .208 with 15 hits in 72 at-bats ... scored 18 runs and drove in 10 ... added four doubles, a triple, and  a home run ... drew 17 walks and was hit-by-pitch five times ... was 10-of-12 in stolen bases ... posted a .909 fielding percentage in 66 chances.

Prior to Shepherd: A 2017 graduate of Williamstown High School where he played baseball for Joe Smith ... lettered three years in baseball and two in football ... was ranked in Perfect Game Top 500 and in the top six shortstops in New Jersey ... garnered 2017 Rawlings-Perfect Game honorable mention All- America and first team Northeast All-Region honors ... had 27 starts and lettered at Penn State as a freshman in 2018 ... batted .458 with two homers, 11 RBI, and 12 runs scored in seven games at Rowan College of South Jersey.

Personal: The son of Minique and Thomas Gibson ... majoring in health promotion and exercise science ... his father, Tom, played football at Morgan State.
