Jaiden Chinnis is entering his first season as an assistant coach with the Shepherd University volleyball program.
Chinnis joins Shepherd after a playing career at Midway University (2023–2025) where he was named the 2023 Mid-South Conference Freshman of the Year and served as a two-time team captain.
Alongside his collegiate career, Chinnis gained coaching and event management experience as an On-Site Tournament Director for The Academy Volleyball Club in Indianapolis, IN. He also coached at Lafayette High School and Jessie Clark Middle School in Lexington, KY.
Chinnis graduated cum laude from Midway University in 2025 with a double major in Business Administration and Sports Management.Â
