2023: Appeared and started in 12 games ... gained first team All-PSAC East honors as he completed 239-of-364 passes for 2,970 yards and 24 touchdowns ... ranked 12th nationally in passing yards (2,970), 14th in completion percentage (.657), and 15th in completions per game (19.92) ...  completed 24-of-35 passes for a career-high 413 yards against Edinboro ... passed for a season-high four touchdown passes against California (Pa.) and Mercyhurst ... named PSAC East Offensive Athlete of the Week for Sept. 11 and Oct. 9 ... named a second team D2CCA All-Super Region One team choice and an honorable mention Don Hansen All-American.

Prior to Shepherd: A 2019 graduate of Mount Lebanon High School where he played football for Mike Melnyk ... lettered in football, track, and basketball ... garnered first team All-Conference honors ... a transfer from Virginia Military Institute ... gained SoCon Freshman of the Year and was a member of two conference champion teams (2020 and 2021) ... threw for over 5,000 yards and 37 touchdowns for the Keydets.

Personal: The son of Suzanne and Doug Morgan ... majoring in general studies ... his father, Doug, was a linebacker at Texas El Paso from 1985-89.
