Bob Meals enters his first season as head women’s soccer coach for the Rams.
Meals comes to Shepherd after serving as the interim head coach of the women’s program at American International College in 2025. He served as an assistant at Fitchburg State University in the early part of the 2025 season.
He previously served as a longtime assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at the University of Massachusetts Boston from 2018-25. He assisted with the planning, management, and coordination of all aspects of the program to ensure smooth operations and strategic success.
Meals also had a stint as the head women’s soccer coach at Eastern Nazarene from 2016-17.
Additionally, Coach Meals has an extensive background in club soccer. He has coached with the Scorpions Soccer Club in the Elite Clubs National League (ECNL) since 2013 coaching National and Regional teams. He has served as the ECNL recruiting coordinator since 2024, helping coaches and club players navigate the recruiting process. He has also served as the assistant coach for Scorpions Soccer Club in the United Women's Soccer League One from 2021-2023.
Meals holds a bachelor’s degree from Bridgewater State University in 2001 and gained a master’s degree from Southern New Hampshire University in 2022.
He currently holds his NSCAA National Diploma (Distinction), Advance National Diploma, and USSF “D” National License.
