Corinne Baronner enters her fourth season as an assistant cross country coach for the Rams after joining the staff prior to the 2022 season.
Baronner came to Shepherd after serving as the head cross country coach and assistant track and field coach at Jefferson High School from 2019-22. She served as the distance coach and mid-distance co-coach for the Cougars.
She led the boys team to three EPAC cross country championships (2019, 2020, 2021) and the girls team to one (2021). The boys also earned regional champions ships in 2020 and 2021, while the girls were regional champions in 2021.
The Chardon, Ohio native ran cross country and track at West Virginia University from 2013-16. She was a member of a pair of Big 12 Championship Teams (cross country in 2015 and track in 2016).
Baronner ran one semester of cross country at Queens University of Charlotte in Charlotte, North Carolina in 2016. She gained NCAA II All-American honors as a South Atlantic Conference Champion (individual and team). The team finished as the regional runner-up and placed 15th and the NCAA Championships.
Baronner lives in Shepherdstown with her husband and daughter.
