Stacy Needle enters her first season on the Shepherd University women’s lacrosse staff. She spent the past two seasons as an assistant coach at Shippensburg University. During her time with the Raiders, Needle helped lead the program to the PSAC Playoffs for the first time in more than 10 years, contributing to a major step forward for the program.
Needle brings a strong offensive background to Shepherd, with an emphasis on offensive development, draw controls, and creating opportunities in the attacking end of the field. Her expertise in the draw circle will be a key component of the Rams’ continued development, while her offensive focus will help shape a dynamic, aggressive, and confident attacking unit.
Needle also brings nearly a decade of club coaching experience. She currently serves as the 2027-2028 Black Team Coach for Hurricane Girls Lacrosse in New Oxford, Pennsylvania, a position she has held for ten seasons. She serves as the club’s primary college recruiting coordinator, helping place numerous student-athletes at NCAA Division I, II, and III programs.
At the high school level, Needle has coached at both York Suburban and New Oxford High Schools. At York Suburban, she served as a draw specialist and was part of the staff that led the Trojans to the first winning season in program history. At New Oxford, she spent three seasons on the coaching staff, helping lead the Colonials to the district playoffs in each season.
