Alex Aleshire (Hagerstown, Md./Williamsport) recorded six saves for the Rams. Aleshire stopped a penalty kick with 9:17 remaining in regulation to force the extra session. Jonathan Howitt (1) and Troy Teresak (2) combined for three saves for the Bald Eagles.
Lock Haven had a 19-8 advantage in shots and a 12-6 edge in corner kicks.
Shepherd improves to 5-3-1, while Lock Haven drops to 4-3-1. The Rams return to action on Sunday when they travel to Urbana for a 3 p.m. contest.
