Sarah Lankton had eight goals and an assist for the Oilers. Kyra Bradley added five goals.
Junior goalkeeper
Savannah Shores (Trappe, Md./Easton) recorded nine saves for the Rams, Brooke Eicher (7) )and Rachel Heath (1) combined for eight saves in goal for the Oilers.
With the game tied a t 10-10, Shepherd scored four unanswered goals over a five minute span midway through the second half to take a 14-10 lead to take control of the contest. Lang had a goal and two assists to fuel the run.
The game was tied, 7-7, at halftime.
Shepherd had a 41-27 advantage in shots and a 16-14 edge in ground balls. Findlay had an 18-17 advantage in draw controls.
Shepherd improves to 10-5, while Findlay falls to 7-9. The Rams return to action next Friday when they host UVa-Wise in semifinal action of the MEC Tournament at 4 p.m. at Ram Stadium.
