Samantha Leonard (Conowingo, Md./Perryville) scored on a pass from freshman defender
Elishia Davis (Charleston, W.Va./George Washington) at the 57:17 mark to lift Shepherd University (6-5-1, 5-5-1 MEC) to a 1-0 victory over Concord (3-6-6, 3-5-3 MEC) in Mountain East Conference women's soccer action at Shepherd on Sunday afternoon. It was the third game-winning goal for Leonard this season.

Kelsey Rhoderick (Frederick, Md./Governor Thomas Johnson) and sophomore
Christi LaBella (Ijamsville, Md./Oakdale) each recorded a pair of saves in goal in a shutout effort for the Rams. Emily Simpkins recorded five saves for the Mountain Lions.
Shepherd had a 13-11 edge in shots, while corner kicks were even at 2-2.
The Rams return to action on Wednesday when they travel to Notre Dame for a 4 p.m. matchup.
