Box Score SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va.  – Cydney Hrycko scored four goals and Emily Peters and Anna Purdy each added three goals to lead Edinboro (4-0) to an 11-2 win over Shepherd University (1-5) in women's lacrosse action at Ram Stadium on Sunday.
 
Senior midfielder/attacker Erin Phelan (Thurmont, Md./Catoctin) and junior attacker Brooke Hunley (Monrovia, Md./Linganore) each had a goal for the Rams. Junior midfielder Courtney Schwiegerath (Frederick, Md./Oakdale) added an assist.
 
Rachel Olson tallied a goal, while  Purdy and Hannah Fitzgerald each added assists for the Fighting Scots.
 
Senior netminder Savannah Shores (Trappe, Md./Easton) had  seven saves for the Rams. Paige Skinner recorded 17 saves for the Fighting Scots.
 
Edinboro had an 8-1 lead at halftime.
 
Shepherd had a 22-16 edge in ground balls, while Edinboro had an 8-7 advantage in draw controls. The Rams had a 32-23 advantage in shots.

The Rams return to action on Wednesday when they travel to Shorter for a 6 p.m. match.
