HILTON HEAD, S.C. – Shepherd University (5-8) recorded a 5-4 win over Agnes Scott (3-2) in women's tennis action at Hilton Head on Wednesday.

Freshman Alisha Adkins (Hagerstown, Md./South Hagerstown) posted a 6-4, 6-3 win at number two singles and teamed with sophomore Molly Lovern (Bluefield, W.Va./Bluefield) for an 8-6 triumph at number one doubles to help key the win. 

Freshman Zoie O'Neal (Hagerstown, Md./Clear Spring, Md.) had a 6-1, 6-3 win at number five singles and teamed with classmate Nicolette Bruley (Centreville, Va./Westfield) for an 8-6 victory at number two doubles.
