DANIELS, W.Va. – The Shepherd University men's golf team shot a two-day total of 959 to place 11th in a 19-team field at the Glade Springs Intercollegiate Championship at the Cobb Course. West Liberty took team honors with a 922. Connor Sheehan (211) of Millersville took medalist accolades.
 
Shepherd was led by senior Joey Burkinshaw (Germantown, Md./Northwest) fired a 229 to pace the Rams and tie for seventh place. He was followed by senior Ryan Crabtree (Willliamsport, Md./Williamsport) ) (242, T-50th), senior Erik Williams (Frederick, Md./Middletown) (243, T-52nd), senior Zach Poffinberger (Boonsboro, Md./Boonsboro) (250, T-71st), and junior Brandon Dang  (Berryville, Va./Clarke County) (256, T-84th),

The Rams return to action on Sept.18-19 when they travel to the Shenandoah University Invitational in Winchester, Va..
