SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. – Shepherd University (16-5, 5-3 MEC) recorded a 3-0 (26-24, 25-12, 25-14) win over Concord (9-16, 3-5 MEC) in MEC volleyball action at the Butcher Center on Friday night.
Sophomore outside hitter
Cambriea Hill (Columbia, Md./Hammond) had a match-high 16 kills with a .536 attack percentage to lead the Rams. She also had 13 digs.
Senior middle hitter
Christine Jackson (Stafford, Va./North Stafford) added 11 kills, while senior outside hitter
Amanda Snowden (Hagerstown, Md./Smithsburg) posted 10 kills.
Sophomore setter
Jessica Karcz (Westminster, Md./Westminster) recorded 40 assists and 16 digs, while sophomore libero
Imani Major (Gainesville, Va./Millbrook) had 13 digs. Freshman libero
Milleysha Molina-Otero (Fairfax, Va./Chantilly) contributed 11 digs.
Alexi Pranckus had six kills and seven digs, while Brooke Heck posted five kills for the Mountain Lions. Lindsay Mattox added a team-high 15 digs.
The Rams return to action on Saturday when they host UVa-Wise for a 4 p.m. match.
