SOUTH EUCLID, Ohio – Nicholas Felician scored a pair of goals and assisted on another to lead 11th-ranked Notre Dame College (12-2-0, 9-2-0 MEC) to a 5-0 win over Shepherd University (1-14-0, 0-11-0 MEC) in MEC men's soccer action at Notre Dame on Thursday.
Notre Dame took a 1-0 lead into the break as Felician scored on a pass from Giulio Bellei at the 21:18 mark.
The Falcons added four second-half goals.
Felician assisted on a goal by Arthur Favero at the 60:58 mark and scored on a feed from David Torralba at the 77:13 mark. Torralba scored an unassisted tally at the 78:09 mark, while Varis Khera added another at the 80:45 mark.
Freshman goalkeeper Michael Lemay (Martinsburg, W.Va./Martinsburg) recorded seven saves for the Rams. Daniele De Angelis did not record a save in goal for the Falcons.
Notre Dame had a 34-1 advantage in shots and an 8-2 edge in corner kicks.
The Rams return to action on Sunday when they host West Liberty at noon.
