SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. – Tam Dimairo scored a pair of first-half goals to lead fourth-ranked University of Charleston (14-0-2, 12-0-1 MEC) to a 6-0 win over Shepherd (1-16-0, 0-13-0 MEC) in MEC men's soccer action at Shepherd on Wednesday.

The Golden Eagles also got single goals in the second half from David Achaerandio, Kay Maletzki, Gabriel Cabral, and Alex Townley. Ettore Ballestracci, Christos Charalambous, Jordi Ramon, Manuel Perez, and Maletzki each recorded assists.

Freshman goalkeeper Jose Machado Orrellana (Falls Church, Va./J.E.B. Stuart) tied a career-high mark with 14 saves for the Rams. Alvara Unanua Dean recorded a save for the Golden Eagles.

Charleston had a 28-3 advantage in shots and a 7-0 edge in corner kicks.

The Rams return to action on Sunday when they travel to West Virginia Wesleyan for a 1 p.m. match.
