ATHENS, W.Va. – Concord (3-6-1, 3-4-1 MEC) rallied past Shepherd University (1-10-0, 0-8-0 MEC) for a 2-1 victory in MEC men's soccer action at Concord on Thursday afternoon.
Shepherd took a 1-0 lead at the 4:42 mark when freshman forward Angel Servellon (Falls Church, Va./J.E.B. Stuart) scored an unassisted goal from 30 yards out.
Concord tied the game on an unassisted tally by Courtney Skerritt at the 30:04 mark.
Maxime Ramioulle scored the game-winner on a pass from Moulay Hassani at the 56:01 mark.
Freshman goalkeeper Michael Lemay (Martinsburg, W.Va./Martinsburg) recorded six saves for the Rams. Kyle Brown had a pair of saves for the Mountain Lions.
Concord had a 25-6 advantage in shots and a 7-2 edge in corner kicks.
The Rams return to action on Sunday when they host Urbana at noon for Youth Soccer Day.
