Shepherd Volleyball Downs Thomas Jefferson in Four Sets

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – Shepherd University (10-5) recorded a 25-23, 18-25, 25-20, 25-21 victory over Thomas Jefferson (11-6) in non-conference volleyball action at Thomas Jefferson on Saturday afternoon.

Junior outside hitter Peyton Lindblad (Spotsylvania, Va./Riverbend) recorded 17 kills to lead the Rams.

Junior outside hitter Seone Goode (Fredericksburg, Va./Riverbend) added 11 kills and 25 digs. Senior setter Becca Kern (Martinsburg, W.Va./Musselman) contributed 42 assists, while junior libero Imani Major (Gainesville, Va./Millbrook) had 16 digs.

Abigail Kress had 14 kills, while Courtney Wensel and Cassandra Hickman each added 12 to pace Thomas Jefferson.

The Rams return to action on Tuesday when they travel to Fairmont State for a 7 p.m. match.
