SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. – Shepherd University (12-5, 2-2 MEC) recorded a 25-11, 25-19, 20-25, 25-19 victory over Notre Dame College (6-10, 0-3 MEC) in MEC volleyball action in the home opener for the Rams at the Butcher Center on Friday night.

Peyton Lindblad (Spotsylvania, Va./Riverbend) led the Shepherd attack with 20 kills and a .421 attack percentage.

Cambriea Hill (Columbia, Md./Hammond) recorded 11 kills and 17 digs, while junior outside hitter
Seone Goode (Fredericksburg, Va./Riverbend) had 10 kills. Sophomore middle hitter
Nicole Murray (Hagerstown, Md./North Hagerstown) contributed a match-high seven blocks.
Senior setter
Becca Kern (Martinsburg, W.Va./Musselman) had 49 assists and 11 digs, while junior libero
Imani Major (Gainesville, Va./Millbrook) had 22 digs.
Mary Kate McHugh and Lizzie Willis each had 10 kills to pace the Falcons. Alexandra Kaeberlein posted 22 digs.
The Rams return to action on Saturday when they host Urbana at 4 p.m.
