SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. -- The Shepherd University volleyball team (18-1, 6-1 PSAC) dropped a 3-2 (23-25, 25-23, 25-20, 18-25, 7-15) decision to Shippensburg (15-3, 7-0 PSAC) in PSAC volleyball action at Shippensburg on Tuesday night. The Rams saw their winning streak end at 18 matches.
Senior outside hitter Cambriea Hill (Columbia, Md./Hammond) had 18 kills and 15 digs, while senior outside hitter Peyton Lindblad (Spotsylvania, Va./Riverbend) added 16 kills to lead the Rams.
Junior setter Jessica Karcz (Westminster, Md./Westminster) contributed 39 assists, nine digs, and four  aces. Senior libero Imani Major (Gainesville, Va./Millbrook) posted a match-high 28 digs and sophomore middle hitter Georgia Ohmke (Falls Church, Va./Justice) had five blocks.
Kendall Johnson had 17 kills and Gabriella Johnson added 16 kills and 17 digs to pace Shippensburg. Emily Hangen  had 53 assists and 21 digs.
The Rams return to action on Thursday when they host Gannon for a 7 p.m. match.
