SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. -- The Shepherd University volleyball team (19-1, 7-1 PSAC) recorded a 3-2 (25-19,18-25, 15-25, 25-12, 15-12) win over regional power Gannon (15-5, 8-1 PSAC) in PSAC volleyball action at the Butcher Center on Thursday night.
Senior outside hitter Peyton Lindblad (Spotsylvania, Va./Riverbend)Â posted a match-high 21 kills with a .319 attack percentage. Senior outside hitter Cambriea Hill (Columbia, Md./Hammond) added a double-double with 13 kills and 14 digs.
Junior setter Jessica Karcz (Westminster, Md./Westminster) contributed 41 assists, eight digs, six kills, four blocks, and a pair of  aces. Senior libero Imani Major (Gainesville, Va./Millbrook) posted a match-high 28 digs and freshman middle blocker Elyssia Smith (Fredericksburg, Va./Colonial Forge) tied Gannon's Ashley Kerestes with a match-high six blocks.
Kerestes had 17 kills and Lauren Sampson added 14 kills and 18 digs for the Golden Knights. Ashley Beyers had 46 assists and 12 digs.
The Rams return to action on Friday when they host Mercyhurst for a 7 p.m. match.
