WEST CHESTER, Pa. – Shepherd (2-6-1, 0-2-1 PSAC East) dropped a 3-0 decision to 14th-ranked West Chester (6-1-1, 3-0-1 PSAC East) in PSAC East men's soccer action at West Chester on Wednesday afternoon.

The Golden Rams took a 1-0 lead into the break as Ryan Bellfore scored on a assist from Stephen Thompson at the 25:38 mark.

West Chester added a pair of second half goals. Austin Eveland scored at the 59:13 mark and Daniel Grindrod added a goal at the 89:27 mark.

Freshman netminder Billy Wood (Williamsport, Md./Williamsport) recorded 12 saves for the Rams. Daniel Good had six saves for the Golden Rams.

West Chester had a 26-6 advantage in shots and a 12-3 edge in corner kicks.

The Rams return to action on Saturday when they host Millersville for a 1 p.m. match.
