SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. – Shepherd (2-6-1, 0-2-1 PSAC East) dropped a 2-1 decision to Millersville (6-1-1, 3-0-1 PSAC East) in PSAC East men's soccer action at Shepherd on Saturday.\
Millersville took a 1-0 lead when Bob Hennessey scored on a pass from Frank Astarita at the 6:05 mark.
Shepherd tied the game when senior midfielder Justin Daniels (Huntingtown, Md./Huntingtown) scored off a feed from junior midfielder Adam Rice (Fairfax, Va./Fairfax) at the 24:32 mark.
Anthony Calamia scored an unassisted goal at the 66:51 mark to give the Marauders the win.
Freshman netminder Billy Wood (Williamsport, Md./Williamsport) recorded seven saves for the Rams. Darien McCauley had a pair of saves for the Marauders.
Millersville had a 18-8 advantage in shots and a 7-2 edge in corner kicks.
The Rams return to action on Wednesday when they travel to Lock Haven for a 7 p.m. contest.
