SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. – Bloomsburg (6-8-0, 5-4-0) handed Shepherd (2-11-1, 0-7-1) a 3-1 setback in PSAC East men's soccer action at Shepherd on Wednesday afternoon.
The Huskies took a 2-0 advantage into the break behind unassisted first half goals from Thomas King and Mike Bazadona.
Bloomsburg took a 3-0 lead at the 51:56 mark when Carter Luckenbaugh scored on an assist from Stephen Hollis.
Senior midfielder Justin Daniels (Huntingtown, Md./Huntingtown) found the back of the net on a pass from junior defender Liam Risell (New Windsor, Md./Francis Scott Key) at the 73:06 mark for the Rams.
Freshman netminder Billy Wood (Williamsport, Md./Williamsport) recorded eight saves for the Rams. Nathan Slotnick posted four saves for the Huskies.
Bloomsburg had a 12-8 edge in shots and a 7-3 edge in corner kicks.
The Rams return to action on Saturday when they travel to Shippensburg for a 2:30 p.m. contest.
