SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – Shippensburg (2-7-3, 2-6-1 PSAC East) recorded a 3-1 win over Shepherd (2-12-1, 0-8-1 PSAC East) in PSAC East men's soccer action at Shippensburg on Saturday.
Shippensburg took a 1-0 lead into the break as Colin Marks scored an unassisted tally at the 4:53 mark.
Cory Ferguson scored on an assist from Alex Petty at the 47:08 mark to give the Raiders a 2-0 lead.
Sophomore midfielder Shamar Robinson (Mount Vernon, NY/Mount Vernon) scored an unassisted goal at the 60:37 mark for the Rams.
Seth Crabbe scored on a feed from Erik Espinoza at the 82:37 mark for the Raiders to complete the scoring.
Freshman netminder Billy Wood (Williamsport, Md./Williamsport) recorded one save for the Rams. Bradley Brickman posted two saves for the Raiders.
Shippensburg had a 17-13 advantage in shots and a 6-2 edge in corner kicks.
The Rams return to action on Wednesday when they host Lock Haven for a 1 p.m. match.
