Eighth-Ranked Millersville Outlasts Shepherd Women’s Soccer

SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. – Kay Liebl scored on an assist  from Amanda McElhare at the 31:29 mark to lift eighth-ranked Millersville (9-0-0, 7-0-0 PSAC East)  to a 1-0 win over Shepherd University (0-7-2, 0-7-1 PSAC East)  in PSAC East women's soccer action at Shepherd on Saturday.

Sophomore goalkeepers Lulu Fricks (Alexandria, Va./Hayfield)   (4 saves, 1 GA) and Meghan Byers (Clear Spring, Md./Clear Spring) (8 saves, 0 GA) combined for 12 saves for the Rams. Reagan Kolinski recorded one save for the Marauders.

Millersville had a 23-3 advantage in shots and a 5-3 edge in corner kicks.

The Rams return to action on Wednesday when they host Daemen for a 1 p.m. contest.
