BLOOMSBURG, Pa. – Tyler Madeira scored a pair of goal to lead Bloomsburg (2-3-0, 1-1-0 PSAC East) to a 5-0 win over Shepherd (2-5-0, 0-1-0 PSAC East) in men's soccer action at Bloomsburg on Saturday.
The Huskies took a 1-0 lead into the break as Carter Luckenbaugh scored at the 21:30 mark.
Bloomsburg added four second half goals as Madeira got a pair and Bryce Evans and Nick Bazadona each had single tallies.
Sophomore goalkeeper Jose Machado Orrellana (Falls Church, Va./J.E.B. Stuart) (4 saves, 4 GA) and freshman netminder Billy Wood (Williamsport, Md./Williamsport) (3 saves, 1 GA) combined for seven saves for the Rams. Nolan Michaels had three saves for the Huskies.
Bloomsburg had a 23-10 advantage in shots, while Shepherd had a 10-7 edge in corner kicks.
The Rams return to action on Wednesday when they host Shippensburg for a 3:30 p.m. match.
