JOHNSTOWN, Pa. – The Shepherd University volleyball team (13-0) handed Pitt-Johnstown (7-3) a 3-0 setback (25-20, 25-22, 25-14) in volleyball action at Pitt-Johnstown on Friday night. The Rams extended their winning streak to 13 matches.
Senior outside hitter
Cambriea Hill (Columbia, Md./Hammond) had 12 kills and six digs, while senior outside hitter
Peyton Lindblad (Spotsylvania, Va./Riverbend) had 10 kills to pace the Rams.
Junior setter
Jessica Karcz (Westminster, Md./Westminster) contributed 34 assists and seven digs and senior libero
Imani Major (Gainesville, Va./Millbrook) recorded a match-high 16 digs. Sophomore middle hitter
Georgia Ohmke (Falls Church, Va./Justice) contributed four blocks.
Caitlin Vrabel had nine kills and Grace Miller added six to lead the Mountain Cats.
The Rams return to action on Saturday when they travel to Indiana (Pa.) for a 1 p.m. match.
