Shepherd Women's Soccer Falls to Mansfield

SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. – CayMcNichol scored on a pass from Eleni Gebbia to lift Mansfield (1-6-0, 1-4-0 PSAC East) to a 1-0 win over Shepherd University (0-6-1, 0-6-0 PSAC East) in PSAC East women's soccer action at Shepherd on Saturday.

Shepherd had a 25-7 advantage in shots, while Mansfield had a 3-2 edge in corner kicks.

Sophomore goalkeepers Lulu Fricks (Alexandria, Va./Hayfield) (0 saves, 0 GA) and Meghan Byers (Clear Spring, Md./Clear Spring) (1 saves, 2 GA) combined for two  saves for the Rams. Stephanie Moir recorded11 saves for the Mounties.

The Rams return to action on Wednesday when they travel to Lock Haven for a 5 p.m. match.
