Shepherd Men Upset 19th-Ranked Wheeling Jesuit

SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. – Sophomore guard Thomas Lang (New Market, Md./Linganore) scored a career-high 23 points to lead six Rams in double figures as Shepherd University (12-8, 8-6 MEC) knocked off 19th-ranked Wheeling Jesuit (15-4, 11-3 MEC) in MEC men's basketball action at the Butcher Center on Saturday. Shepherd recorded its first win over a ranked team since the Rams handed #22 Pitt-Johnstown a 70-55 setback on Jan. 3, 2009.
