MANSFIELD, Pa. – Shepherd University (2-6-1, 1-6-1 PSAC East) got a pair of first-half goals en route to a 2-0 win over Mansfield (1-8-2, 0-7-2 PSAC East) in PSAC East women's soccer action at Shepherd on Saturday. 
Shepherd took a 1-0 lead when freshman midfielder Delaney Bittner (York, Pa./Red Lion Area Senior) scored on an assist from junior forward/midfielder Sara Hohn (Frederick, Md./Thomas Johnson) at the 9:34 mark. 
The Rams added another goal when senior defender Alyssa Nazarok (Northfield, N.J./Mainland) scored on a feed from Hohn at the 35:56 mark. 
Senior Lulu Fricks (Alexandria, Va./Hayfield) had seven saves in a shutout effort in goal for the Rams. Faith Cameron posted six saves for the Mountaineers. 
Mansfield had a 14-12 advantage in shots with Shepherd holding an 8-7 edge in shots on goal. Corner kicks were even at one apiece. 
The Rams return to action on Wednesday when they host Kutztown for a 1 p.m. contest.
