WEST CHESTER, Pa. – West Chester (5-1-2, 5-1-1 PSAC East) recorded a 2-1 win over Shepherd (1-12-0, 0-7-0 PSAC East) in non-conference men's soccer action at West Chester on Saturday afternoon. 

Ryan Keenan scored on a pass from Connor Sullivan at the 14:49 mark to give West Chester a 1-0 lead at the break. 

Senior midfielder Shamar Robinson (Mount Vernon, NY/Mount Vernon) scored an unassisted goal from at the 55:18 mark to tie the game at 1-1. 

Jack Dieffenderfer scored the game-winner on an assist from Keenan for the Golden Rams at the 63:08 mark. 

Sophomore netminder Billy Wood (Williamsport, Md./Williamsport) recorded eight saves for the Rams. Jake Langley had four saves for the Golden Rams.

West Chester had a 19-8 advantage in shots with a 10-5 edge in shots on goal. The Golden Rams had a 6-1 advantage in corner kicks. 

\The Rams return to action on Wednesday when they travel to Bloomsburg for a 4:30 p.m. contest.
